RIDE RATING

Each day averages approximately 47 miles (rides range from 33-59 miles) with varying levels of elevation gain. On higher mileage days, van shuttles will be available. While we have included many bike paths on our route, when entering and leaving towns, expect standard urban conditions. Out of towners and locals alike will enjoy exploring the many routes within the Hudson Valley.

BIKE TRANSPORT AND RENTAL

Tour participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the start/finish (at our Chelsea store). After signing up, please wait for confirmation from your tour leader before booking air travel. For those of you arriving by plane, early rider/bike pick-up will be scheduled for the JFK airport on April 12th. Talk to our helpful guide for details.

Rentals: We offer road, hybrid, and pedal assist options. Please select the rental option in the tour application for more information.

Shipping your bike: We recommend Bike Flights for the cheapest rates. You can ship directly to our Chelsea store. Our service department will be offering pre-tour tune-up specials for all tour participants.

Resources for locals: Bike drop-off is available the week before the tour. Our service department will be offering pre-tour tune-up specials for all tour participants. After the tour, locals within the five boroughs enjoy free luggage drop-off!
