Mercian Custom Road Frames

Mercian cycles have been hand building frames for over 40 years and their standards for accuracy in building and the finest finishes available are known by enthusiasts throughout the world.

Every Mercian frame is built from world renowned Reynolds double butted tubing and each frame is hand made one at a time by one craftsman. Every tube used on the frame is hand mitred ensuring that the internal joints on each frame are a perfect fit. All the lugs are hand brazed, the hallmark of a top line lightweight frame.

Mercians can be finished in over 60 standard colors and will do their best to match whatever color your heart desires. Mercian has built its reputation on impeccably crafted frames with immaculate paint jobs.

Hal, who acts as our agent with Mercian, rides one. He has ridden it cross-country and pronounced it the best riding bike he has ever owned. One of the nice things about Mercian is they'll build the bike you want the way you want it. If you want a long distance tourer, they'll build it, if you want a short wheel base crit bike, they'll build it.

If you want to order a Mercian, make an appointment with Hal to discuss your needs and to be measured. You'll talk about what you ride and what kind of riding you want to do. You will have to decide what braze-ons and geometry is right for you and then you'll have to decide on the colors. The cost is $750.00 and up depending on options.
